Clinical Scheduling Coordinator
About the role
The Clinical Scheduling Coordinator / Clinical Quality Coordinator (CQC) position supports the clinical team, coordinates resident care and services, monitors departmental data, and ensures documentation compliance. This role engages residents, families, and providers to enhance person-centered plans of care and promote satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Clinical Director/Director of Nursing with department administration including monitoring metrics, auditing documentation, filing records, and coordinating contracts.
- Adheres to policies and procedures, using Ecumen tools and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborates with department leaders to create and maintain clinical schedules to ensure the community is staffed to meet resident needs.
- Captures and maintains clinical team onboarding and training schedules and monitors training compliance.
- Fosters a positive culture promoting team member retention by engaging the entire team, attending daily stand-up/team huddles, returning voicemails, emails, and texts messages, and following up on grievances/complaints, escalating concerns.
- Supports the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives of the community including data entry, monitoring, development of visuals and reporting.
- Participates in on-call rotation and duties as outlined by Clinical Director/Director of Nursing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in healthcare
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient use of electronic health records systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
- Three or more years working with older adults
Pay
The targeted pay range for this job is $25.50 - $32.00 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.
