About the role

The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking a motivated, dynamic individual to join our team at Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans' Nursing Home in Saint Augustine, St. Johns County, Florida.

Responsibilities

- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living nursing care. - Routinely observe and report resident concerns/needs. - Perform restorative and simple nursing measures. - Measure and record vital signs and intake/output. - Ensure resident safety and document all care given. - Respond to resident needs and notify nurses of changes.

Requirements

- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in Florida. - Willingness to work weekends and holidays. - Effective communication and basic computer skills. - Completion of due diligence process, including background check and drug test.

Pay

Annual salary: $37,420.76, paid bi-weekly. Overtime and shift differential may apply.

Schedule

Weekend and holiday availability required. Positions are open continuously.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Experience working in a skilled long-term care facility is preferred. - CPR/BLS certification preferred.
