About the role

Provides expertise to analyze technical learning needs for a business or function and then designs and delivers training solutions. Impacts the team’s ability to meet service, quality and timeliness objectives. Work is governed by functional policy targets. Responsible for regular advisory to line and/or business management. Supports decision-making on key topics. Requires a high degree of evaluative judgment to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze learning needs and design training solutions for a company or function, focusing on role-critical technical training (leadership learning excluded as it resides in HR).
  • Include training leads and coordinators whose primary duty is to deliver instructional content or handle logistical arrangements for training programs.
  • Demand specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within the discipline.
  • May require strong business acumen; expected to influence strategy within the area, including resource stewardship and policy formulation.
  • Evaluate straightforward internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Stay current with industry trends that may affect work.
  • Exercise high-level judgment to make decisions and resolve complex tasks or problems affecting the function.
  • Assess the quality of information provided and ask relevant questions of stakeholders.
  • Propose new solutions for problems outside established parameters and prepare and deliver recommendations.
  • Draw on multiple internal and some external sources outside the function to reach decisions.
  • Lead function teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk and/or moderate complexity.
  • Communicate complex concepts and influence others’ options on specific topics.
  • Guide others to adopt a different point of view.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience; knowledge level comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

Pay

For U.S.-based roles, the pay range is between $123,700.00 and $206,100.00. The Company applies a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education and skill set. Discretionary annual bonus eligibility.
