Senior Business Analyst (Remote- US)

First American’s Strategic Analysis Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with relevant A.I. business analysis skills to contribute to company-wide goals. This remote role operates at the intersection of business strategy, process optimization, and technology enablement, partnering with leaders, product, and technology teams to uncover opportunities and drive digital transformation initiatives, including A.I. projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with internal and external stakeholders (business leaders, technology leaders, SMEs) to understand business problems, analysis needs, and support initiatives.
• Develop analysis approaches by understanding business context, goals, challenges, baseline metrics, and stakeholder lists.
• Conduct and document business and system discovery, including current-state processes, capabilities, value streams, systems, and data using best practices.
• Identify user needs through primary and secondary research, including interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions to gather qualitative insights and document requirements.
• Analyze findings to identify gaps, change impacts, challenge assumptions, and uncover opportunities in people, process, and technology domains.
• Lead data analysis (market, financial, operational, organizational) and synthesize large data volumes to identify trends, derive insights, validate hypotheses, and inform decisions.
• Develop and present high-quality executive presentations and readouts with data-backed recommendations for measurable business outcomes.
• Support future-state design by documenting business requirements, target-state capabilities, processes, and features.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, map system/data definitions, and support testing to confirm alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with project, research, product, and change management teams for implementation.
• Create and maintain clear documentation and artifacts (e.g., requirements documents, process maps, context diagrams, value stream maps, capability maps, user stories) using industry best practices.
• Lead and manage multiple, concurrent deadline-driven projects, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and timeline adherence.
• Contribute to the Strategic Analysis Center of Excellence and perform additional tasks as identified by management to support business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, process improvement, or related fields.
• Business Management or B.S. degree (or equivalent work experience).
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting analysis within A.I. transformation projects and process optimization.
• Active user of A.I. tools beyond basic prompting, with experience developing or guiding solutions with real business impact (e.g., Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Co-pilot).
• Advanced communication and presentation skills for facilitating discussions and presenting to stakeholders, including executives.
• Comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to conduct root-cause analysis.
• Strong business acumen with experience partnering with technology teams and IT practices.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to learn quickly, synthesize high volumes of information, and adapt to evolving priorities.

Pay

$75,400.00 - $125,600.00 annually. Pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
