Senior Account Services Representative

Responsible for processing work requests through mail and e-mail channels. The incumbent serves as a primary point of contact for processing deceased accounts, certificates, IRAs, and trust accounts. Leads tax reporting testing and validation. Resources to do the job require reliance on knowledge of credit union policies and procedures. Immediate supervision is received from the Supervisor of Account Services.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide service to internal and external customersComplete loan reconstruction by creating share and loan products applicable under the new account numberProcess death notification entries and daily deceased reportingProcesses ownership changes including adding or deleting joint owners, beneficiary designation, and address change requestsIndex confidential documents using workflow management and perform quality control of required documentsProcess member correspondence related to account research, general inquiries, verification of deposit and statement requestsAssist in distribution of daily workflow and new hire trainingProcess IRS reported tax dividend form 1099INTParticipates in testing of software releases and enhancements making appropriateParticipate and respond to Business Risk inquiries and assist with business remediation effortsConduct root cause analysis, create summaries and/or process documents detailing remediation activities and escalate issues to managementEnsure department procedures are maintained and up to dateUpdate Knowledge Base as appropriate based on remediation outcomesIdentify continuous operational improvement opportunities and service efficiency initiatives; recommend solutions, and champion the implementation of agreed upon changes with management supportEducation & Years of ExperienceMinimum - High School or EquivalentMinimum - 2 Years of Customer, Service Focused or relatedCompensation & Benefits:Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎ $46,100.00 to $65,300.00‎ Annually.
