Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a vital utilities location in Springfield, MO. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to utility-location personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities through required reports and communication channels.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$16.21 / Hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Part Time
• Day shifts: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
