Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Scranton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, and responding public service agencies.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
