About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver in Endicott, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay

$27.55 / hour

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
