About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Miami, FL, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate property.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with established property procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$20.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
