Security Officer Alarm Triage

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Triage Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm activity while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication using computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
