Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Triage

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and alarm response while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
