Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Systems

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You can build a flexible schedule and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a respectful environment for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
