Security Officer - Patrol Operations

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Seguin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or policy violations clearly and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
