About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting an orderly environment.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital vaccinations are required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
