Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Cookeville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain awareness of activity around restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
