Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Hastings, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations promptly. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional site environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay and schedule

Position Type: Full Time | Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule: Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
