Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor, vendor, and driver entry requirements, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Observe loading and shipping areas for unusual activity, report damaged barriers or lighting concerns, and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
