Security Officer Patrol Monitoring

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitoring in Forest, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. This part-time, unarmed role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, deter incidents, and support access control activities while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of sanitation, restricted-area, and food-production site requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
