Security Officer Patrol - Medical Office

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer supporting dynamic healthcare and technology-focused locations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, clinical areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies for technology and healthcare locations.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of access control practices.
• Ability to conduct patrols and monitor restricted areas.
• Good observational skills.
