Job Description

As a Security Officer Medical Patrol in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, assist with wayfinding, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in clear reports, and/or relay important information to supervisors and site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • DayTime: Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

Pay

  • $21.00 / Hour.
