Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Orangeburg, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and responders while supporting a secure environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
