Security Officer Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or driver activity as directed by location procedures, and report irregularities to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support daily operations by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and other assigned locations for policy compliance and/or security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
