Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Accomac, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

$15.91 / Hour

• Monday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Friday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
