Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Denison, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service in a food and beverage production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
