Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records as required.
• Communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
