Security Officer Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns promptly. This role involves providing professional customer service, clear communication with site personnel and visitors, and supporting a team that values integrity and innovation.

Position Type: Full Time. This role requires walking and standing for long periods of time. CLEET assistance is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refining location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, process areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations promptly to supervisors and client representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.36 per hour.
