What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating with site contacts, emergency personnel, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
