Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, amenities, and the surrounding property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with established property procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly to support property operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
