Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control issues in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
