Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol

Allied Universal® offers a flexible, part‑time Security Officer position (unarmed site patrol) in Kyle, TX. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts for extra earnings and experience. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel while following site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; communicate observations to site contacts and appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and maintain awareness of vehicle, pedestrian, and freight movement throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles (21 years for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime – Saturday: 04:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): hired for a designated site and weekly shift with a six‑month commitment. Earn‑More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program allows picking up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, enabling variable hours from part‑time to full‑time as desired.
