Security Officer Part Time Retail

As a Security Officer Part Time Retail in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor and vendor interactions in a professional manner consistent with location expectations.
• Support daily property operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and by following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for unarmed roles: Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Minimum qualifications for armed roles: Possession of a valid firearms permit.
