Security Officer - Retail Part Time

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now seeking a Tactical Security Rover Officer. The ideal candidate should possess a keen sense of observation and physical capability to patrol various environments.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activities
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Perform crowd control duties as needed

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED
• Have a valid driver's license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Complete additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly wage of $16.90 per hour
• DailyPay option available for GardaWorld employees
• 16-40 hours per week schedule
