Retail Security Officer - Part Time

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Rover Officer. The ideal candidate should have a keen sense of observation and physical ability to patrol various environments.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Have a valid driver's license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Complete additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly wage of $19 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
• Schedule: 16-24 hours per week
• Shifts: 1st Shift: Monday - Wednesday, 12:00 am - 8:30 am
  2nd Shift: Friday - Saturday, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
