Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity to help support loss prevention efforts, report suspicious behavior, and/or address access concerns in accordance with post instructions.
• Assist with closing and opening-related routines, observe exterior and interior conditions, and/or report maintenance, lighting, or hazard-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
