Security Officer Retail Patrol Part Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Butler, PA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• This is primarily a driving post; a valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.00 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
