How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to utility personnel, contractors, visitors, and the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, office areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain an orderly environment at the location by reporting facility hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
