As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Patrol in Rye, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor credentials, manage entry procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and/or vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with enforcing site access policies, directing visitors, and reporting damaged doors, gates, access devices, and/or other security-related equipment issues.

Requirements

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.68 - $18.68 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule: Thursday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
