Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, trailers, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and/or adherence to location procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols and interactions with staff, drivers, and visitors.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
