Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns or developing issues.
  • Support daily operations by documenting observations, completing routine reports, and following post instructions for assigned patrol areas and property conditions.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.
  • Good observation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
