Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Monitoring

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and investigate alarms, suspicious activity, and policy violations; document observations and incidents in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies related to armed duties.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet. Customer service experience.

$22.18 / Hour

• Wednesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
