About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Saint Joe, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Requirements

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
