Security Officer Part Time Patrol Monitoring

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, employee entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $16.90 / Hour
