About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Durham, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.46 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
