Security Officer Part Time Patrol Monitoring

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Monitoring in Danbury, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
