As an Armed Security Officer at a resort-style community location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of resort amenities, lodging areas, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe and report unusual conditions, and document incidents, patrol activities, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Maintain professional communication with guests, staff, public agency partners, and Allied Universal leadership while following applicable armed post procedures.
Requirements
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
