Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Part-Time Armed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious, hazardous, or policy-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$26.50 / Hour

- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:45 PM
