About the role
As a Part-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Mission, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Complete required reports, maintain clear communication with Allied Universal supervision and store personnel, and follow applicable laws and armed post protocols.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
- An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
