What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and escorts as directed by site policies.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
