As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and prompt response to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
