What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and support badge, sign-in, and/or delivery procedures in alignment with site protocols.
- Assist with security-related inquiries, provide directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, life-supporting equipment, and/or environmental concerns observed during the course of assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
